Colonel Sanders

I took quite a bit of nice photos with my 35 mm camera. In some ways, it captures better than any digital camera today. I'm not sure what became of it. These were taken for CDs made at Walgreen's. These pictures were taken at Magnolia Grange in Chester, Virginia, and ended up on "We Talk In Circles".

Fun With A Phone

These were  taken in May 2010  in front of the 3rd street Diner in Richmond, Virginia, for an idea I had to use in my upcoming project "We Talk In Circles". They were from a 35 mm camera I got at a thrift store. The photos were never used for the album cover, but I had fun doing this. A little strange. The idea is trying to call someone on a rotary landline phone that is disconnected.. Obviously.

Fun With PhotoFunia !

I enjoy using Photofunia .  The possibilities are endless, and it can be very tempting to spend hours with this. I picked a few neat layouts. There are so many fun things to try with this app, and it's been out for quite some time. I like the watercolor in my blue suit the best. HINT: If you have so-so pictures or grainy screen caps you don't know what to do with, you can spruce them up with PhotoFunia. It's very creative and nifty!

Coffee Shop Tours

I played at numerous coffee shops over the years in the Virginia-North Carolina area. Some of these establishments have long since closed. Most of these pictures were taken between 2009- 2013, the heyday of my coffee shop tours. There was always a lot of fun to be had. I hope to get back on the road one day soon. Flashback Pictures July 2011

I had these studio portraits done a while back for my acting resume, and to me they are the least flattering I ever took. For one thing, I need a better hair cut. I was sweaty from being out in the sun just hours earlier ( I was singing at a Farmers Market) My skin looks sun drenched and you can see the fine lines and wrinkles - which normally fade eventually but this was bad timing. I don't think the photographer knew how to bring out the best in me. My personality doesn't shine. I did eventually use one of them for an Album cover, but I had it lightly retouched. Also I was wearing my invisiline braces, so that needed some editing as well.
